We process account, identity, contact, academic, immigration, financial, housing, guarantor, reference, document and technical audit information to provide and secure the service, verify applications, prevent fraud, calculate and explain the Tenora score, handle reviews and claims, communicate with users and meet legal obligations. Legal bases may include contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and explicit consent where required.

Authorised staff and vetted processors may access only what they need. Private guarantor submissions are not visible to the applicant. Identifiable applicant or guarantor data is not sold. Tenora may produce genuinely anonymised and aggregated insights. Limited information may be disclosed under confidentiality during financing, restructuring, merger, acquisition or sale of the business and transferred to a successor that assumes applicable privacy obligations.

International transfers use safeguards required by law. Drafts are normally retained for 12 months after inactivity; declined or withdrawn files for 5 years; approved files for the service or guarantee term plus 10 years; audit, consent, score and FX records for 10 years; backups enter deletion cycles of up to 90 days. Active contracts, claims, fraud prevention, accounting duties or legal holds may require longer retention.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability where applicable, withdrawal of optional marketing consent, and human review of an automated result, and may complain to the competent authority.
